MargaretASHWORTHMrs Margaret Gadsbey Ashworth, of Dobbin Close, Higher Cloughfold, died at Burnley General on Wednesday, November 11, aged 95 years. She loved holidays on the south coast, Spain, and Portugal, and dancing at the Conservative Club in Crawshawbooth. Wife of the late Jack and mother of the late John, she leaves daughters Susan and Janet, grandchildren Emma, Julie, and Stephanie, great-grandchildren Finlay, Archie, Freya, Neva, Arthur, and George, two nieces, and one nephew. The funeral was due to be held on Friday, November 27, 4pm at Burnley Crematorium, led by Revd Stephen Crook. Donations if desired to Rossendale Hospice.
